Froggy is friendly and has great respect for all things. Because Frog likes fresh water, especially ponds, lakes and marshes, he was very upset with Beaver.
Did you know, you couldn't take Frog to a restaurant for a drink? That's because he doesn't drink water like you or I, he absorbs it through his skin.
About the
My Home is the story of a persistent and self-indulgent beaver who is not a very good neighbor. That is, until he meets a precocious no-nonsense turtle. In Oneida society, oral tradition is very important and represents the soul of the Oneida people. From generation to generation children are taught Oneida traditional beliefs from an Elder who has the ability to speak with meaning and confidence. My Home opens with that scene. The story follows a young turtle as she wakes up to find that a neighboring beaver has changed her home. The beaver is more interested in technology than the nature around him and its inhabitants. The turtle, upset, soon realizes she has to stop him. Ask for the DVD or DVD (and beautifully illustrated) Book Combo Pack at a store near you.
